This game is so great, the feeling of exploring is unmatched in games. Bethesda always knocks that shyt out the park. Ain't trying to read much of the thread because i don't want spoilers. Here's a few of my takes
- Graphics are nice, but aren't great. And that is fine, not everything can be a graphical masterpiece, and that is not the selling point of Fallout anyway.
- The world created feels so real, the ambience is off the charts and the story it tells is consuming. Went into a graveyard, checked out this cool ass skill and bones type shrine in one of the catatacomb type things, only to be snuck by a Raider from behind. That immersion and realness, gotta love it. Dude set me up with my curiosity.
- Love the new nature of the Ghouls
- The story got me hooked from jump, I have a family now so it appeals to me big time. Wonder if the creators had kids/married since FO3, and this is their way of representing that feel in this game.
- Right now on the broken highway, and i find it much more enjoyable because you can actually travel along it for a good distance, unlike in FO3 or NV
- Ain't nothing like those death ragdoll slow mo animations
