Got MGSV and The Taken King a day early because of their pre-ordering system saying your items are ready for pickup a day before the game comes out
Damn I might have to try an pick up early, Best Buy been on to my hustle though
So if I preorder it now and even if it say pick up date tomorrow I might give me a pick up today option?
What happens is you get the pickup text that its ready for pick up as soon as they bring it up front to the help desk
Technically it says ready for pick up 11/10. But I'll go in all smooth and say Im here to pick up order # blah blah.
Sometimes you get some bytch that has no clue, only reads the order number and hands it right over.
Sometimes you get someone that knows and says nah not til tomorrow. Im like 75-25 success failure depending over like 10 games.
Yup, the emails will say that it's ready to pick-up for tomorrow, but when you go into your account on Best Buy's site, the game's status will say, "Ready for Pick-Up" without any date. So depending on the cashier, they'll just give you the game. Whenever they send out that notification that usually means they moved the game up to the counter. Good Luck...
