Failed storylines that you thought should have been more successful

Its hard to actually think of something that didn't get over BECAUSE of the storyline. I can think of about 25 things easily that didn't work because WWE fukked it up by going the wrong route but a storyline that was good and just didn't get over???

Maybe Shelton and his mama? Most of the things mentioned didn't work because of WWE fukking it up somehow...just my opinion though.

Stone Cold heel turn is a good one. Fans wouldn't let it work because they wanted to cheer him so bad.

The conspiracy could've been BIG. Punk is already hot, miz, & r-truth is pissed, Nash is back in the mix, could've been some great television had they booked it properly.

The higher power angle could've been better had they left as an omniscient presence rather than making it vinnie Mac.

Who ran over Austin would've faired better if it was tazz instead of rikishi. Taz would've fit the bill much better.

The nexus could've been a legit modern day nwo that had their own uniqueness that was quite different than some blatant knockoff like immortal or aces & 8s.

shyt should have been like a major operation on some Dangerous Alliance shyt. Yet, Punk kept playing coy, while the Shield "randomly" helped him win matches.

For once, I want a successful hostile takeover that doesn't reek of 50/50 booking and overdrawn past storylines.

Also, the original plan for WCW Greed which sadly didn't happen because....yeah....

Jesse James/The Roadie being the "Real Double J" was fukking GENIUS to me breh. You got this supposed big country music star in Jeff Jarrett, and all of the sudden it's revealed that he wasn't singing the songs at all - it was his roadie who was really the mastermind behind it all, while Jarrett took all the credit.

It just didn't get over. I think part of it is probably just Road Dogg is better in a tag than singles, and it came along at a weird time when the Attitude era was first kicking off, so it didn't really fit that well, but this shyt to me is fukkin GREAT writing and character development.

I maintain that this angle failed because the audience was sick of Jeff Jarrett at this point. We all talk about how sick of dude we were, but this angle right here was when his Jarrett Heat began.
