Jesse James/The Roadie being the "Real Double J" was fukking GENIUS to me breh. You got this supposed big country music star in Jeff Jarrett, and all of the sudden it's revealed that he wasn't singing the songs at all - it was his roadie who was really the mastermind behind it all, while Jarrett took all the credit.

It just didn't get over. I think part of it is probably just Road Dogg is better in a tag than singles, and it came along at a weird time when the Attitude era was first kicking off, so it didn't really fit that well, but this shyt to me is fukkin GREAT writing and character development.

yo im so glad those days are gone. the "New Generation" was shyt minus the main event players

Storylines
  • The NEXUS - The destroying of the ring and beating everyone up was GOAT and then it fell flat
  • John Cena's US Open Challenge - It didnt create any new stars, Cena had good matches with them but would have been cooler to have a pass the torch type finish with an up-n-comer
  • All the recent King of the ring winners - King Sheamus & King Barrett

Sting's Debut.... that had so much impact and it should have led to:

1. A Dolph babyface title run - With Sting helping Dolph being the soul survivor of the team that cause the banishment of The Authority he should have had tons of momentum to win the Royal Rumble setting up Dolph vs Brock for the WWE Title at WrestleMania..... but instead it lead to nothing for Dolph, The Authority end up coming back after 2 weeks, and it led to Roman Reigns becoming one of the most hated Royal Rumble winners ever and he didn't even win the WrestleMania main event.

2. Sting vs Taker - with Sting debuting finally in the WWE they could have had him say "I only came to the WWE for one thing... to face The Undertaker at WrestleMania" leading to a long awaited dream match to happen. Sting beats Taker and Undertaker could have retired at WrestleMania 31.... but instead they made it Sting vs HHH to see if WWE or WCW is the better company WHAT THE fukk?! And they dug up DX and nWo old asses to get involved and of course... HHH went over.

3. A End To The Authority Storyline For Good - At that point The Authority became ultra stale and boring and frustrating to watch on tv everyweek so Sting ending it at the Survivor Series would have been a good end to it... but not only did they come back in 2 weeks but we STILL stuck dealing with Steph's emasculations on a weekly basis.
