Who's raising these black people in America?

At the end of the day I don't believe in taxation without representation. You can't take my tax money through government grants and contracts and then refuse to hire folks like me and think I am gonna be good with that...fukk no.

I know someone who got the same exact response from Facebook. He's a computer programmer, super smart with solid work history. He was told he didn't fit company culture. He didn't think it was anything racial though. He felt it's because he wore a suit and tie and maybe a bit too serious. He says the interview was quirky and a completely different vibe than he's ever experienced.

If folks smart. All the black folks who got the same rejection comment need to file a class action lawsuit.

That should be an easy 10 to 20k each in settlements at least.

Get that paper one way or another out these hoes.

It might be tough depending on the circumstances. They reject alot of people on cultural fit. Depending on the role if you ain't the typical hipster geek you won't fit in. Also if you're 40+ it would be hard too. Alot of older engineers that's highly skilled and experienced often get rejected from alot of those bay area tech firms.

I need an article or a link to verify, but it's not uncommon. Everyone in this thread that has interviewed for a corporate gig, has heard the term cultural fit at one point either during the process itself or when being rejected for the role. It's a very real issue. You can have all of the skill and experience, but if you don't fit the type of person they're looking for, there's not much you can do. Imagine if you had to put your picture on your resume like they do in India? You'd never get a call.

I use to know a old timer brotha with the EEOC. Per what he told me a lot of these companies got suits. You just never hear about it cause they are small settlements in like 10 to 20k per person. They basically pay to make it go away.

My point was that hoe ass facebook need to pay period even if its a 10k settlement per person cause they gaming the system taking tax payers money then not wanting to hire the people they taking tax payer money from.

Yea for sure they get sued alot. I remember they settled on some age descrimination lawsuit. And yea I agree they should get sued for this bullshyt
