I like Undertaker and think he has put on more than his fair share of great matches, but you're right on damn near every point.

Terrible on the mic. Goes over people for no reason other than reputation. Wrestles the same match scheme. Disappears and shows back up whenever is convenient.

The only people wanting ABA Taker back are the ones who didn't have to sit and watch this fool ramble about his "yard" every week while never losing. It was equally as bad as Triple H in 2004-2005 :papescust:

I almost put John Cena on the list of guys Taker tried to bury. He had a mini-feud with Cena as he was gaining momentum with the rapper gimmick that went absolutely nowhere. He beat Cena, and that was pretty much the end of it.

Yeah the Cena feud was in '03. That was kind of a random feud, just came and went. In regards to Biker Taker, the Taker-Kane feud explained why he won't come back out on the bike again because Kane buried him alive and was pissed because he became one of us (speaking kayfabe wise).

Regarding the Streak, it was his program with Randy Orton that everyone started caring about breaking it. Though Taker was throwing up with his fingers how many wins he had before then.

As for the Undertaker himself, I honestly think he started stepping up his in ring game when he had his first program with King Kurtis (who has been in pro wrestling for a lot less longer than Taker has btw). I still maintain that my favorite Taker match was the Vengeance 2002 triple threat with Kurt and the Rock. Big Evil Taker was probably his best persona tbh, but he's way too old to believably bring that gimmick back.

I'm not going to go all out and say "F*ck him" like OP, buuuut....

I'm just going to say Dwayne shytting on Taker in everyone of his 1999 promos are some of my favorite Taker related moments.

Not a single lie was stated. I'm one of the rare fans of Big Evil Taker, but the streak is 60% trash and of a 25 year career, he probably has 7-8 years of good material. I was mad at the DDP burial too.

Thank you, for saying what needed to be said! I owe you rep when I'm able to. *bookmarks*

Remember when the streak was just a bit of trivia? "Did you know The Undertaker was never defeated at WrestleMania??? :leon:"

Nobody gave a fukk when he was taking on A-Train and Big Show at WM19. Shawn Michaels made it matter. :wow:

@Wacky D :scheme:

No the streak got press at WM 21 when they brought it up and the sheets were saying they gonna have Blandy go over Taker "to get back on track" after the 2005 Rumble burial by Cripple H.

Cosign this thread 100%.

What was the purpose of him coming back and beating Brock? Why did him and Isaac Yankem bury the Wyatts?

At the end of the day Undertaker has never been popular enough to justify the way they have built him up. He had a spark when he started...

So pretty much every wrestler of any consequence in the last 20 years has praised Taker as being one of the best ever, but I guess TheGreatShowTime on The Coli knows more then they do.

Taker made Jeff Hardy a star, Mick Foley credits him with being the sole reason he was able to get over as well as he did when he debuted, he was the first person that made Edge look credible as champion, he made Brock look like a legitimate world champion, and the list goes on of guys he put over and make look like a million bucks. But you want to focus on taking the belt off of Punk (who wasn't over at all once his feud with Hardy ended).

If I knew who you were behind that S/N, I'd come to your house and slap the s#it out of you for this disrespectful thread.

Taker used to be way exposed for his politicing ways back in the day in the sheets. It wasnt til he became WM exclusive that he got the reputation of a locker room leader

That's the biggest thing that bothers me. Everyone has seemingly forgot about it, and the same thing was happening to Triple H until he fukked up and put the title on himself :russ:
