I thought 2 seaters didn’t go on carriers. Or maybe it just applied to Marines squadrons. I worked on hornets and I know for sure none of our 2 seater squadrons did cruises.My job was on the LSO PLATFORM.
When he makes that hard LEFT turn I would yell
"AIRCRAFT BREAKING"..
then as it's perpendicular to the ship
"Aircraft downwind "..
Then I'd have to identify if it were a rhino(super hornet) or a hornet(two seater).
If I fukked up and got the aircraft wrong then the arresting gear might snap due to weight difference.
