And the cacs loving this song have no idea about morris day, cameo, etc. Take nothing away from Mars. Hes a great artist but we know whata going on here

It was/is obvious that that song is going out of its way to point out its influences. There's nothing about the song that is trying to front like its original...shhhiiii even the video is a homage to the videos MJ, The Time etc used to do...plus Mark Ronson wouldn't dare try to act like this was him doing something completely original...that's not his style

I dont get OPs gripe... All OP did was match samples when you can just go to Wiki and see what the samples are. I dont get ops point. Why did OP title the video EXPOSING THE FRAUDS....he should have just titled it THE BREAKDOWN OF THE SONG UPTOWN FUNK. Mark Ronson is a respectable hip hop dj. Dude made a song with a bunch of samples the same way Prince Paul, Q Tip and Rza have done in the past. Is it cuz he's white? If so then what about Muggs and Alchemist who have combined samples to make songs as well. The video doesnt expose anything. I thought that there was some sort of lawsuit pending but the video is just a breakdown with a false title.
