Abeed means slave in Arabic but it doesn't mean black per se. Evn tho, it could be used to describe someone black due to the history of African slavery in the Arabic world.

I said the word means slave in Arabic and doesn't mean black. Obviously the word is used to refer to blacks due to the slave trade history. Even though lots of white euros were slaves as well, I don't hear them being referred to as Abeed tho
