*another fake story i heard *
mannn that shyt was crazy, am never going to forget cause it was the year the big body 7 series BMW came out 2002, i dunno if you ever been to a port where cars get undocked but this is what it looks like
rows and rows and rows of cars , if a car comes damaged it gets sent back, if the wholesaler or dealer who bought the cars had a bad month X amount of cars get sent back, etc etc, basically what am tryin to say is that its possible that some cars get "misplaced" on paperwork and what not
anyways i met dude through a girl i knew, dude told me they only dealt in high end cars because the risk was worth it and because usually only certain ppl would havea $10k-$15k just laying around ( read drug dealers and mafia types) so the deal was this, you would give him half the money up front and in 2 months he would deliver your choice of car and you gave the other half of the money, when i met him it was the 7 series bimmer and the CL 500 benz was the hottest ones moving he told me, both of those was $15 k, another cheaper models bimmers and benz could be had for $10k, basically the cars would just be marked on the ships manifest as 1. cars that never made it from there destination to here 2. cars that had damage and needed to be returned. 3. overstocked cars, and that point it was just switching paper work and serial #s waiting for the right time and driving the car off, once you got the though car you had to go down to Virginia dmv and register it,pick up your title , plates etc , you had to keep registered out of state for 6 months them you could register it back in state
i remember hearing about like 3 dudes i may have knew personally that did this
if they was moving CARS like this, just imagine smaller things
