16% of youngsters of Turkish origin and 26% of the young Arabs fully agreed with the statement that according to their religion Jews will destroy the world.
In contrast with the Neo-Nazis, whose hatred of Jews is based on racial prejudices, the cause of the Muslims hatred is anti-Zionism resulting from the political situation.
The Muslim immigrants do not look upon the Jews as an inferior race, but rather they consider them the oppressors of the Arab countries, said Jonathan Judaken, a Professor at Rhodes University - as was reported by the news portal Business Insider.
In France, which has a population of about half a million Jews, the Muslim antisemitism is considered one of the most severe in Europe.
In the first 6 months of the current year, 110 antisemitic crimes were committed, out of which 81 involved the use of violence. As was reported by the magazine Nouvel Observateur, Muhammad Merah, who in March committed the terrorist attack in the Jewish school, has become a role model for a sizable number of Muslim youngsters.
The number of attacks has doubled
As reported by the security services of the Jewish community in France, following the bloody acts committed by Merah, there has been a sharp increase in the number of antisemitic assaults. According to the Interior Ministry data, in March and April the number of attacks has doubled compared to the same period last year.
Janis Roder, a history teacher in a Parisian school, told the magazine that antisemitism is rising among young Muslims; therefore many Jews dont send their children to the public schools anymore. Besides, as many surveys conducted this year show, the Jews are interested in emigrating from France.
In the city of Malmö, the third largest city in Sweden, in which many Muslims reside, the Jews are routinely repressed - was written in the Tel Aviv report that was published this year. Scores of Jewish families left the city last year because of the widespread antisemitism.
For this reason Jews are also leaving Britain. If in 1990 340,000 lived in the country, until 2006 their number decreased to 270,000. According to the forecasts, in 2020 only 240,000 Jews will remain in Britain.
