I get that, but if he loses where does he go? bellator? He'll likely come back and try to negotiate a new deal with even less leverage than he has now.

And I’m leaning towards Francis, perfect for 4 rounds vs one punch. And plus Francis has those wrestling skills now and Gane legit has almost nothing on the ground, dude is 101% a standup fighter.
Only way for Gane to win is by decision which is
Francis has a lot to work with, he could really toy with dude if he takes him down. Unless Francis comes in hard gets frustrated and shut down the entire night - but even then he’s dangerous.
Gane’s defense isn’t perfect and he gets touched. Look at the Volkov fight. I can def see Gane touching him with a strong ass wild haymaker.
Gane also has a tendency to fall straight to the ground whenever he gets touched by a serious shot. Which is bad for him considering Francis had wrestling skills.
I fukk with Gane tho he seems like a cool dude, this is too early for him imo. Shoulda fought Blaydes first.

And plus his coach Fernand pretty much exposed the fact that Gane cannot function on the ground in any capacity. That’s bad news, especially if Gane takes him down either with a shot or with wrestling.
This is a bad matchup idk why the odds are like this.
