You gotta go with a nikka's history. The last time he tried to sue RZA, and called him a "devil", he admitted he was wrong and said it was all a publicity stunt. Also...he claims here that he's been getting fukked for 6 years by the Wu hierarchy but in those 6 years he's been actively campaigning for RZA to work on his projects and also was the first one to join in on Wu projects. This reeks of bullsh!t.

And people unfamiliar with Wu need to understand that RZA is probably one of the only notable Hip Hop moguls that let artists out of their contracts without litigation or public discourse. He let every last member of the Clan out of the contract they signed under him just because he felt they were his brothers. He could be milking every last one of them n!ggas till this day. Ask yourself if Suge, Diddy, Birdman, J. Prince, or any of his contemporaries would have done the same. Any talk of this RZA is dirty sh!t is bullsh!t.

I remember that shyt, back in in like 2003. U-God went to Hot 97 and had an interview about his beef with RZA and admitted it was a publicity stunt to promote his group Hillside Scramblers' project, RZA called in and they were arguing on air for like 10 minutes. I know that shyt is somewhere to be found on the web

hes getting none of the secret album revenue, that was done like a 1040 (outside contractor) pay as you go. theres no royalites, thats like the parking lot manager wanting a piece of building income. the rest? idk, thats between him and the others. im sure hes going to get buried by Meth at least behind closed doors.

I recommend watching the whole DVD, there's some cool history in there. You don't have to like his music at all to enjoy the DVD, he's such a character.

I actually think this is the SECOND time U-God has filed a lawsuit against RZA. I seem to recall him winning something like 100K a few years back?

Also Ghost won a lawsuit against RZA too a few years back. So there IS precedent. From what I gather the beef isn't with RZA himself but with his brother Divine. Some of the Clan members feel like he was shorting them money and I think maybe it was Rae who said he'd never work with RZA if Divine had a hand in the business

U-God's previous lawsuit against RZA was admitted by him "a publicity stunt." He also said that he knows RZA made him a millionaire, but if he seeing $1M, he feels he should see $2M. Ghost lawsuit against RZA was weird. It was because RZA was being paid as a producer (50%) and an artist (whatever over 50%) and Ghost felt he should only be paid as artist. I was surprised RZA lost that one, but it probably had to do with the initial Wu-contracts of splitting everything.

Aint no telling how much money RZA and Power made off Wu Wear. probably in the tens of millions. I say fukk it go get ya bread. U-God was part of making the brand world wide why shouldn't he get paid of merchandise

Wu Wear is strictly Power's. They all can eat off the "W" as much as they want without paying RZA. So, U-God....?

BTW i don't know about Uey not being able to beat Meth. He was very respected in the streets.

I wish GZA's doc came out. I want to see more arguing and fights. i remember when we first saw The Show. We were shocked to see them arguing like that...but apparently, it was normal.
