Exactly why are ratings dropping so fast in the wwe when wrestling has been awful for so long?

I think the main reasons is because the pandemic (and everything that has come along with it) plus this no crowd shows have made it way easier for hardcores to drop the habit of tuning in for a company that even though it may not give a quality product, it gave them something they were too usted to watch to drop it. Now they have other shyt going on to bother.

Casual fans is an even bigger detachment from the product.

The biggest issue is how the fukk will WWE bring them back eventually. They've failed for 18 years to bring back a huge portion of casuals, we'll see how they do with hardcores :patrice:

Casual fans been out since Benoit and then PG was the death knell. The majority of fans for the last decade have only been hardcore fans and the children of hardcore fans.

I'm surprised the Total Divas/Total Bellas crowd never converted over tbh.

Also I still think they should throw the brand split in the bushes until a vaccine comes out.

Yeah that's nice but they aren't struggling relatively speaking.

this is where you lose me

The UFC and WWE both have lucrative tv deals

The UFC and WWE are both coming off their most lucrative year since their inception

The UFC and WWE both run weekly shows in which the WWE’s viewership eclipses the UFC’s

The UFC and WWE both run monthly PPV’s in which the UFC’s PPV butyrate eclipses WWE’s (and recently Boxing’s as well, more often than not)

And that’s outside of the fact that the WWE’s PPV’s run on their app for free..

but in your eyes, one company is doing just fine and the other is failing. Opinion on the product aside, please make that make sense
