There's a military forum called Shadow Spear that I used to browse. A loooooooong time ago, before they updated their board and cleared a bunch of very old threads, on the public (military and law enforcement forums often have public boards and then private boards only verified persons are allowed to view) African board, there was a "Where in Africa were you deployed and what was it like?" thread where the comments were mostly how it sucked because it was so hot and humid, but at least the women were easy and cheap. The US has never deployed armed forces (just special operations units) in Africa, so that means it's likely nearly all - if not all - the comments were from white guys.
From what I can remember, Cameroon was one of the favorite places to go, as women packed out the bars close to the American bases. Beer was apparently cheap, to incentivize US and French soldiers to visit them. $5 could get you a beautiful girl for the entire night. Conversely, in Japan and South Korea, most nightlife entertainment venue will refuse entry to foreigners - and even more so if they're United States military.
