Curious to know how he found her so far away. I can only assume it was partially due to her chronicles on Tik Tok

She didn’t deserve to get killed but It’s too bad she had to clout chase wit her divorce story. Keep family shyt private not everybody wants their business aired out
Yea this is where I am with it too. RIP to that woman, but she knew ol' boy was crazy, she knew he wouldn't let it go. She should've been moving like she was in witness protection but instead she decides to clout chase.

hiding not always gonna help, this dude went door to door looking for her.... even after a restraining order. so basically you can't have freedom to live a normal even if you get away from a crazy person. you might be a victim either way. if he doesn't find you, it's because you're expected to hide like YOU did something wrong :francis:

Moral of the story is move in silence. Even her parents warned against the chronicling and she thought it was just to keep patriarchy yada yada, when they prolly feared for her safety as well.
Just like in witness protection, you don't go out drawing attention to yourself but I guess people now can't help draw attention to themselves.

"...But...but... She shouldn't have to be silent and that's victim blaming!!"

Well, you see how that helped her.

That's what you got from my post? I'll bet money you from Texas. This heat got you extra moist for choice.

Because your Father and the men in your life failed you, men are supposed to create an environment that makes it safe for the elders, the youngins, women and of course men.

It's obvious you lack leadership in your life, which is why you encourage drama in relationships, friendships and family.

I hope you don't have kids. We got too many of your types in this world, don't need any more.

Ahh the colis fav past time, blaming women for getting killed by psychotic men.
She came from a community with a high shame factor and emphasis on honor. Caught between 2 worlds, one with strong old tradition and one new age one that is very public. She escaped that man then made their business public. A very bad move in her traditional world. Nobody denying the toxic nature of his actions.

I currently know a Pakistani woman in real life exiled by her own father from her home country for being divorced. She told me the first time I met her how she had to leave because he was a high profile person in her country and she became a source of shame for him after her divorce. These are real situations people live with. Now if you are in a world like that and you know the gravity of their beliefs/views on divorce and public shame then why make your shame go viral? It was a naive move and it did cost her her life.
