*VOICES STARTS PLAYING ON THE LOUDSPEAKER*

*Slowly walks to the ring and looks around with an icy glare*

I'm a 9-time World Champion, while Batista has only done it 6 times. Not to mention I was WHC at 24, the youngest EVER. I've been in the WWE since I was 21, Batista was already :old: when he made his debut. I'm still in my early 30's and got lots of gas left in the tank. I've punted the skulls of John Cena, Mick Foley, Triple H, and Batista himself. There is absolutely no way that Dave is in my league.

Look at Batista now lookin like a frail old chump. :smugfavre:

*Hits a sudden RKO on an unsuspecting DaylitoJames, does the pose, and leaves the ring*

Perfect execution. Just missing a few stumbles but still grade A work.

That last heel run Batista did has you all looking at him with rose colored glasses. Pretty much from the time he turned face until that last heel run people hated him. He was considered just as bland as Orton is now. And even at the beginning of his last heel run people thought he was :flabbynsick: until he started feuding with Cena that is.

While valid, Orton did manage to become the #2 figure in the company while Batista was cryin about Ric Flair and Rey Mysterio. I will ultimately go with Orton just based on their status in the WWE currently but I can't hate on someone saying Batista.

4.Much better angle splitting from Evolution... Batista got over, Orton didn't.

To be fair, Orton's split was kinda fukked over by the booking. They gave him a super push out of nowhere after he just lost his IC title to Edge; he was still very much a heel when he beat Benoit for the title (just to veto Lesnar's youngest champ thing); and was kicked out of the group like a bytch.

It was an up hill battle for him to be a successful face from the get go.

Whereas the Batista push was more slower and calculated, they gave him a slow push before the Rumble while they started planting seeds of breaking Evolution up, culminating with him winning the Rumble and him choosing to leave the heel group. :yeshrug:

But yeah c/s the people who said Batista was at one point Cena's equal. During both of their initial break outs as main event stars after WM21 Batista was just as over as Cena. Dude was above Orton in the pecking order then as evidenced by the fact that he would beat Orton every time they faced with relative ease. But a few years later Orton was getting monster pops when the fans forced a tweener/face turn while Batista character regressed to the point to turn heel, plus wasn't he on the losing end of a feud to Orton when he left to SD prior to his last heel turn? That was months before he feuded with Cena and left I think.

Orton, BY FAR.

Orton is still around and in his early 30's and Batista is doing straight-to-redbox flicks.

Orton sold a hell of a lot more merchandise than Batista, most people could name the design of 3-4 Orton shirts off the top, no one remembers a Batista shirt because no one was buying his merch,

Orton had better matches and drew more dough, so when it comes to success Orton dwarfs Batista.

TSC's stanning of Batista, is truly pathetic, shows how goofy most of you are.

Dude was crying he was out of a match in the hammerstein, was one of the worst wrestlers on the rosters for the majority of his time and was stale and boring the ENITRE time....

Except for that 4 week period when he went heel at the end of his run and called girls fat, therefor he will get love from TSC because you guys are the most predictable simple fans in the world. And since he went out on that note, TSC forgets how downright terrible he was for 95% of his run in the company.

Go heel = TSC Support.

As much as I like Batista more than Orton, Orton got this easily. While Batista's in-ring performances have been hit or miss, Orton has gotten a lot better over the years. He's been more consistent too.

Batista was borin' as hell for a long time as a face. It wasn't until late into his face run that I found him to be more entertainin'. :ahh: @ when he bodied HBK in that stretcher match.

Batista got classics, but Orton got classics and overall a better body of work :manny:

Batista....

As has been said he was actually a draw (as both a heel and a face), was booked more strongly, and was frankly a bigger star.
