For anyone that likes listening to podcast, "Plinkett Reviews", or just likes geeking out or whatever, somebody put together a "History of Power Rangers" project which can be found here : History of Power Rangers
He does it by season, so the heads that only watched for like a couple of years (As most of us did, I'm guessing) needn't be worried about having to sit through stuff from seasons they didn't watch.

Actually, the actor that played him (Walter Jones) actually starred in another childhood favorite of mine : Space Cases
(He might not look it from this pic, but he was basically the lead of the program).
Only ran for two seasons on SNICK, but shyt was....

I fukked with Space Cases heavy too. He actually did Stunt Coordinating on that show. Always appreciated that he was macking on young Susie and getting that space lovin

Dude was bitter as fukk.
Even styled on the Red ranger and Ransik without a morpher. He's also one of the sixth rangers never to join the main crew and kept his swag throughout the series. Not many sixth rangers did that shyt throughout PR history brehs.

Yep, but hear this though. It's actually one of the darker shows, people died and even a ranger got bodied which put a female ranger in a leadership role for the first time in PR history, show also dealt with cism, revenge and redemption.
Also the fight choreography was a bit better compared to the earlier seasons. Some Donnie Yen shyt was going down.
It's a shame hamster vanished. There was a classic power rangers thread from like 09 re-living all of the fukkery, and I was dropping a ton of knowledge about the show and its filming.
A little bit: It seems some people in this thread don't know that the action scenes in Power Rangers are from the Japanese show Super Sentai. They can only work with what Sentai footage they have to work into a show for American audiences. They DO film some action shyt here, but it's easy to tell. Especially when it involves the Green Ranger. When he has the high quality chest plate, Sentai. The foam one? U.S.
In the Sentai show, the Green and Red rangers are long lost brothers and the green ranger eventually dies. The Green and White ranger are not the same person. They weren't going to be the same in the U.S., either. The dude who was the leader in VR Troopers was originally supposed to be the White Ranger while Jason David Frank was going to VR Troopers, but the Tommy character was so fukking popular they switched.
My favorite green ranger moment comes in the first episode of the Green With Evil series.

I was just about to say this they would have stuck with the green ranger if they could the reason he started wearing that flimsy shield is because they ran out of stock footage for the green ranger they had to start shooting original scenes and it was expensive. If they could have they would have stuck with it though
