Rhymesayers was smart. When they sent out all of the pre-order, the digital download codes are being held until Friday. So if you ordered the vinyl then you were stuck listening to it at home. The only way to hear it yesterday or earlier today in the car was if you ordered the CD...can't remember the last CD I bought.
The album is great BTW. Easily Ev's best work lyrically and probably song-wise. The songs on here were recorded over a 4-5 year span, and so it really is like he said it is....more of a "playlist" or a "greatest hits collection" because some of the sequencing is weird. So many songs were recorded at different stages and not directly recorded for the sake of making an album, and so a few of the transitions between some of the songs are weird. For example, the album
feels like it ends after What I Need (track 13) and the last 3 songs almost feel like bonus cuts.
But the middle section of the album is basically flawless.
