Rhymesayers was smart. When they sent out all of the pre-order, the digital download codes are being held until Friday. So if you ordered the vinyl then you were stuck listening to it at home. The only way to hear it yesterday or earlier today in the car was if you ordered the CD...can't remember the last CD I bought.
The album is great BTW. Easily Ev's best work lyrically and probably song-wise. The songs on here were recorded over a 4-5 year span, and so it really is like he said it is....more of a "playlist" or a "greatest hits collection" because some of the sequencing is weird. So many songs were recorded at different stages and not directly recorded for the sake of making an album, and so a few of the transitions between some of the songs are weird. For example, the album feels like it ends after What I Need (track 13) and the last 3 songs almost feel like bonus cuts.
But the middle section of the album is basically flawless.

BTW it'll make sense when you hear the album, but this is definitely his last weather themed album, and frankly if he never records another solo album I wouldn't be surprised. Lots of subliminal hints on here that this is it...at least for a while.

I fukk with it. Gonna give it some more listens but tbh it's definitely an Ev album... I don't know how else to say it. Quality shyt though... not bad off first listen. Will be back with some more opinion after a couple more listens.

Just giving it a quick spin now, will wait for it to sink in before I give my thoughts but man this back and forth with Defari is crazy. Ev killed that beat and they both fit like a glove. Straight fire

Alchemist used a different part of this sample below for Love Is a Funny Thing
I used to hate on Twiz the Beat Pro a lot for sort of being an ALC clone, but he has developed his own style for sure and did his thing on this. The other beat he did, Rain Drops, is probably my favorite on here.
