I'm assuming there will be multiple versions, but I'd just be happy to add it to the collection. It's his project that made me a real fan.

Ev's music is about to hit different for me and not in a fun way. 
I'm about to lose my mom, brehs. They found a rare cancer, and they found it late. It's everywhere. She got maybe 6-12 months. Maybe a little more or less. But there's nothing really to do. Maybe some Hail Mary chemotherapy. I love so many of you, that I wanted to share, because I could really use some love ya'll. I'm absolutely shattered right now.

Ah man, what awful news. Ima keep you in my thoughts and hope you get to stretch this time out (without any suffering on her end) and really cherish it. I'm not gonna lie, I see news like this and I kinda just metaphorically plug my ears up with my fingers, cause I am not trying to even THINK about dealing with it. And as far as that opening sentence, man, I feel you 100%. There are some songs that when ppl close to me pass, I have no idea how I'm gonna be able to listen to 'em. Music is so important to me and it attaches itself to everything around me, so yeah, I understand that sentiment 100%.
So sorry to hear, and hate that you and your family have to go through this. Be strong breh, we got you here.

My thoughts go out to you and your loved ones during this time.
I'm so sorry to hear that bro. Cherish the time you have and make memories while you can. I lost my dad to prostate cancer in 2010 and we spent a whole 5 weeks together in palliative care building and destroying as they say. Sending lots of love and positivity to you and yours. Ask her all the questions you wanted to know, write it down or record it so you can keep those memories. Not sure what your work situation is or if theyre supportive but take the time you need to be with her and to heal. Also, obligatory "fukk cancer".
