Taylor Made Suit. New video. Prod. V Don. And BTW this album understandably isn't gonna be quite as high up on a lot of AOTY lists as KD2 or Bo Jackson, but it's still one of the top albums of the year and has contributed to a great summer of music.

No doubt. Plus for some wild reason it's still the only Ev project that was never stickied on here. I think a lot more people here would've heard it if it had been given the sticky treatment.
That was always weird af to me. I remember multiple posts over multiple pages asking it to be stickied

That shyt is crazy considering some of the trash threads that get stickied. Someone really hates Ev for some reason. Literally one of the nicest and most humble cats in rap.

And I’ve said this ad nauseum but his last album was stickied on here for 2-3 weeks. That’s what’s so weird. We tagged so many mods in here too.

Another really good Ev album. This failing to see a sticky was confusing. I guess he’s on the blacklist with Droog.

Like a spin on the questionable idea that artists need to experience tragedy in order to make magic. You get a glimpse of that on By My Side Too, but Evidence didn’t do a whole album of that. I won’t say it’s easy to translate the raw emotions of loss into song, but it seems more common or expected to respond that way and the interludes here speak to innovation. As a writer, he said the hardest thing to do is to pretend you’re happy when you’re not, so those breaking points inevitably show up in small doses. But overall, he remains witty in the face of his demons and if not quite happy, he stands up stronger. Just seems like the path less traveled to explore the pain and the perseverance in the same breath, in addition to all the other micro changes in this new chapter of his life.
