Someone needs to make Joe's face a smiley when AK was talking about needing "deeper content"
So that was provided with Talib, Common and Black Thought, and no one wanted to fukk with them....
Ghostface, Busta, and several more old heads are rapping about the same shyt, turning up, guns, drugs, etc. People are enjoying the vibe. Isn't that the whole point with good lyricists? They can have an entire album branching out into all kinds of content. Or is Ak baiting and forgetting about the songs on Recovery and MMLP2? We got Berserk and Rap god in one album. I'm calling shenanigans on this one. Either Ak is trolling, or really retarded.

If I have not listened to an Eminem album for nearly 20 years and since then I only catch the singles released and see the visuals, is it wrong of me to think Eminem is not a deep emcee?

I didn't say you went into the specifics but your post implied that you disagreed with the notion that he has dropped more than shock value content through out his career.

All relatively recent singles with visuals. A Spike Lee Joint, a song about god, songs addressing mental illness, and self love. Em isn't the 'deepest' MC by any means but his content is more varied than SOME people like to give him credit for.

Props. I haven't heard/seen any of the shyt you posted. And like I stated earlier, all but real Em fans don't know of him for this type of material. I didn't give a run down of his career I just stated I had never considered Eminem to be a deep rapper.
I am dead wrong. He has more deeper stuff than I gave him credit for.
If you have been following Eminems music it makes sense you have seen a deeper side.
If you haven't been following it also makes sense you would know him as a joker/shock type emcee.
