This is a impossible question to answer. What about Ras Kass? Juvenile gave us a couple of classic albums. Snoop is in a lot of people's Top 20. I think Kendrick have pushed his way into being top 20 MC. You have old school MCs like KRS, and Kane. You have The Wu, 3 Stacks, and Face. TI might be Top 20. What about 50? Luda had a crazy run. Twista had a crazy style. Common , Sean Price, Q Tip, can all be argued. It is fun and interesting to talk about but you will never get a conclusive answer.

Like you wouldn't say Antoine Walker or Steve Francis is a top 20 player of all time,
You gotta hit certain criteria across the board. Not just technical ability
You can't say they can't be in the conversation. I fukks with Cam but i rarely hear his name be brought up when people discuss the best MCs of all times. But if some people feel he is, I'm not going to argue the point. I don't think Game is a top 20 MC but how can I tell Ak he can't be in his top 20? It is his list. You can't tell anyone who and who not to put on their list.

If you're setting a parameter with criteria like impact and skill then certain artists should be brought up before others, no ?
That's why I don't agree with Joe, he was randomly switching from impact to skill. Ak was surprisingly being consistent.
It still going to be subjective. It is going to be hard for people even to agree on the criteria, because some people will value skill much more than impact, and vice versa. My overall point is that you can make an argument for a bunch of different MCs.
Bad analogy. Sports have actual statistic to tell you how good someone is. Music is subjective
if anything he used that line against him AND to big him up, playing both sides.. which makes absolutely no sense
so cam isn't better than this rapper or top 20 because he said "computers putin".. but at the same time he's a great rapper because he said "computers putin"

Because if you're judging the bar as just a bar that any MC would say, its trash. But Because Cam said it and because Cam has an IT FACTOR that makes him who he is and that allows him to say those lines, it makes it a tough bar cuz of the sheer ridiculousness and uniqueness.
its like when he said if you look at someone like Prodigy or Raekwon (idek why he speaking on son at all but hey lol) who arent necessarily nice technically in conventional way, they have a specific style and way they go about their writing that separates them from ya standard lyricist
The IT factor is something we talk about all the time when it comes to battle rap. Some MCs can get away with bars that others can't. Cam and Wayne is in this category.
