Loool and you know what the funny part is? Just today, this dude I met at a meetup 6 months ago (the last time I saw him) just contacted me on LinkedIn, like a couple of hours ago. He wants me to talk to his nieces from Alberta to show them the different kinds of jobs that are out there that are not farming or oil related ... lool. Ppl be using LinkedIn broo ... like all social media platforms it is just a tool. Whether you use it for good or evil is up to you.

But FWIW the message did kind of rub me off the wrong way because I haven't talked to this guy for months ... but you know what, I'm a nice guy and I'm open to picking up a friendship even though we haven't seen each other in a while. If it turns out he is on some bs, then of course, that's it between me and him, but if not, then dooope. I suppose I shouldn't have forgotten all of my old friends once I'd gotten my windfall.
