Are there any hybrid trucks out? Or is the Rivian truck the only elite looking type?types? Just checked..even a Rivian may only reach 420 miles. Lol. Not enough.
the ford f-150 lightning is fully electric as well. but if 420 miles on a full charge isn't enough for you then 320 won't be.

most people don't even use a truck like it's meant to be. them shyts be clean as fukk when you see them on the road. truck bed cover and everything. seems almost performative and they're virtue signaling.

So pay $70k on the off chance one of these situations might happen to you... What, once a year? If that.

(Btw I dig pickups a lot and am tempted to buy one but I know I don't need it. Plus Im not buying anything I can't fit in the garage.)

You don't have to pay $70k for a pickup. Where you getting that from? If you buy a fully loaded top trim, then yeah.

The biggest selling new vehicle in the US each year by a long shot is the F150. Hardly anybody on the road is driving base models cause they buying for the look mainly, not the utility (I'd be in this boat too if I buy one). So yea most people buying trucks every year paid at least $60k.

The only truck I’d ever consider getting would be a Raptor or a TRX, but they’re way too expensive.

I remember seeing some old head do a U-turn by driving over the median instead of going to the light. I was walking on the sidewalk and he rolled down his windows and said to me “that’s why you should get a truck”

I had a Dodge Ram for years. When I was living in Corpus Christi, I’d take it to the beach every morning to surf before going to work.
:mjpls:
I’d run over curbs, medians, and dunes just cause I could.
:wow:

The Kia Telluride is a WAY, WAY better deal than that. Basically getting Luxury SUV amenities under that price.

Thats cap, I know a few wealthy families with large homes. None of them own a truck.

I can go outside and show you that probably less than 1/4 of the people in suburban areas own trucks.
Maybe if you live out in the hicks.
That’s cool for them. Obviously you can get by without one. But I don’t borrow cars and I don’t ask people for shyt. That’s for people like you and your neighbors to do. I buy tools and loan them out. I get asked for my truck regularly so clearly people need one but don’t have one. Example being I just had to go pickup my snowblower from my homie crib because his place is too much for him to shovel manually and since it’s the city, you’ll get fined if you don’t. That’s obviously not fitting in my car so when I bought it, I used my truck.

Where you live and how much your home costs doesn’t mean shyt in this conversation so I dunno why you even bothered to mention that. I have property in Chicago proper so what’s that suppose to mean?

I have sports cars and I’m clearly not going to daily a 2 seater so my truck gets the day to day driving. Potholes, heavy snow, stormy weather, none of that matters. AWD/4WD, trunk space and clearance are what is most practical. Disagree all you want but the most sold type of vehicle is now a crossover, not a sedan and for those very features. A truck is just a step up from there. That’s why a pickup is the most sold vehicle every year for past 30/40yrs, practicality.

Trucks are dope when they are necessary. These same dudes that tie their masculinity to this crazy. I gun train, combat train for 15yrs .I feel better as a man knowing I can intelligently protect myself and loved ones if needed. Then driving a damn truck lol
