My point was, Trucks and Suvs have their uses outside of construction/farming.

And maybe somebody doesnt want to wait 1 to 2 weeks for delivery? You can go directly to the store and haul off everything you need, the same day. So if you doing bathroom or Kitchen renovation you can pick all that shyt up at one time.

Another good thing about trucks and suvs is seeing over everybody too. I can easily see way further than cars and most crossovers
1-2 weeks for delivery?! :dahell: The longest I had to wait for a delivery was probably like four days and that was because of a holiday.

Yeah 1 to 2 weeks for delivery depending on what you're looking for, especially if its a major purchase big item. Could be a bed, a refrigerator, etc. And some things ain't on Amazon. And what if the item is broken? You gotta go through all the hassle of returning it and waiting for a replacement.

Meanwhile a truck or suv you can pick up whatever you want the same day instead of waiting.

You never wanted a washer/dryer?
A new 70in TV?
A lawnmower?
You never needed to hit home depot for home renovations rojects?

You could go Pickup or SUV. Both come in handy.
But these are things that happened only a handful of times a year. The differential cost between a normal car and a truck (gas, insurance, maintenance) over that year is much higher than just renting a truck the few times you need a truck. Its literally 20 bucks a day to get a whole f250 from uhaul .

You weren't installing a refrigerator every week or auditioning for This Old House every month so its a net negative to have truck.

Unless you have an extremely large family, a similar argument applies for full size suv(s). Not to be confused with compact suvs or your smaller wranglers that are purpose built for terrain or weather.

A handful of times makes it justifiable. And that's not mentioning the business opportunities a truck opens up.

Insurance, maintenance, and gas isn't that much more, especially since you can get V6 variants. Tundra, Sequoia, and 4runners out last everything. Even Americans run 200k. I mean you just never know when youll need the convenience.

Cars sit too low and don't even have all that much space. It feels good to sit up in a tall SUV and see ahead of traffic. You can't do that in a sedan.

Does it run without any issues?? I remember UFC fighters being pissed after they were gifted RRs and they kept ending up on the back of a tow truck because they kept breaking down despite being brand new.

not any issues yet. i realized it runs through a lot of coolant on a road trip it triggered the sensors but just topped it off and that was it. but hopefully its not due to a leak or whatever.
i have a defender though.... idk about ranges

Tying your masculinity to your vehicle is crazy :mjlol:
i see it everywhere where i live (OK). dumb redneck cacs with perfectly waxed ford F-950s. if they got them to do farm work or some shyt i would understand, but they NEVER work with those trucks, and most of em have trump bumper stickers or other deranged RW cac shyt ("stomp my flag and ill stomp your ass" etc)

when you own a work truck but dont use it to work, what is its job? dudes basically bought a penis extension.
