working two jobs helped significantly in shaping me as a man. i realized how important money is. because every single minute that i spent working those two jobs reminded me of how much I didn't like to work.

i realized how important money is. which is why i am now 100% against debt or spending money on frivolous things (luxury cars, etc) because when u have debt, that means u have to work. that debt needs to be paid off.

when i worked two jobs, including commute (catching the train/buses), i was putting in like about 95 hours a week. that was miserable.

folks call me "cheap" now because i refuse to be free with my money like they are. i laugh at these n1ggas cause i know exactly what it is like to have to work because u have to. and by the grace of god, i sure as hell aint going back to that stage in my life under no circumstance. EVER.

Pos rep. I'm pretty much moving into this stage of life right now. I'm killing my body working 50-60 hours of hard labor per week, but once I pay off my student loans and other debts I'm done with this shyt. I was spending the money I get off tips on frivolous shyt like going out to bars/clubs and shyt but I'm done with that. I'm just going to pay off my debt and stack up a nice little savings chunk and move on to the next stage of my life.

That's all I'm focused on right now, clearing debt and stacking this money while I'm still young.. I want a nice little nest by the time I'm 30.

I work 2 full time jobs, 1, 7 days a week

My entertainment consists of going to get my haircut on my lunchbreaks and buying some songs off Itunes occasionally.

I will never again do this, but I've been a procrastinator in life,So while it sucks now it's gonna get me back on track so it's also a blessing

I know plenty of dudes who basically had their lives ruined because they had a baby with a chick who can't pull her weight.

Had a lil cousin who had a full scholarship at GTech. He was an engineering major and had a 4.0 his first year. Came home met a a lil wack chick, got her pregnant and had to drop out. Now 3 years later he's going to some community college part time for marketing and working 2 jobs. Meanwhile she stays home and "takes care" of the baby. They getting married next year

Nope, but I'm looking for a 2nd job.

So far I haven't found one, this economy is rough out here. I'm not too picky but I'm not trying to work fast food either. All I want is something decent that pays at least 10/hr.

Yep, was working two part time gigs about 60 hours a week for almost a year....I finally quit the 2nd job (superfresh) in May 2012 because I hated it...one month later I found a full time gig

you are right. but if u had the option of picking a girl with no degree and a girl with one, go with the educated one. the educated one will have more opportunity to get a job that pays relatively well, at least enough to take some burden off of u.

getting with the wrong girl is one of the surest ways to be financially ruined.

I had a second job at a convenient store overnight where I just slept all night and hardly ever manned the window. If you weren't getting gas and paying at the pump you were SOL on the nights I worked. It was easy money...then that bytch got robbed on one of my off days and I never went back.
