I've never really seriously considered it.

Although I do believe that Pan-Africanism is the way forward for the black race....I'm still an African American Nationalist....and I want my descendants to have a blessed future on THIS land that we've worked so hard for (And gotten so little in return).

As long as Black African countries are smart managing their resources forward, can de-emphasize infighting, and possibly look towards combining their global financial and military strength (Black country as a veto nation in the UN? Possibly investing in nuclear armament?)...I mean, they have a clear shot at turning the ship around. I've heard both positive and negative prospects in the future so I truly don't know what's going to happen and can only hope for the best.

What I would kind of like to see if all of us (Rest of black diaspora included) kind of working in a loose formation with one another...a sort of interdependence. Not unlike the 60's really but maybe slightly more codified in some fashion.

Ummm let's see...I'm in college right now, work, have family here, no funds to go to Africa and honestly...I love Texas. Grew up here and don't see myself moving anytime soon actually. Some shyt I don't like about it but This is home. I don't know how all you back to africa ass dudes think a man can just pack up everything and move to a completely different CONTINENT in a heartbeat. I have a life here fool. This is from the mouths of real Africans breh. You thought I made that shyt up? It ain't no secret that some Africans have misconceptions about us and vice versa. Just like alot of white people have misconceptions of us in the states but there are some truly genuine white people out there as well.

And I don't know where you got from my post that ALL African countries are going through an Ebola scare but...a few countries is enough to keep me from moving there Ebola spreads very quickly and all reports say there having trouble controlling it. Like how you evaded that AIDS comment though

I think about going home all the time. I had a blast when I visited Ghana and I want to visit Liberia with my brother or by myself next year.

These threads are always interesting to me. You have a group of people saying, "AA's have no ties to the continent" and so forth. And literally, every time I see that comment, I think, "Speak for yourself and don't include all of us into your statement there."

Depending on what fields are you in, working in Africa might not seem as big a stretch as you might think.
