We gave that shyt away. Keep playin' laterally then let Dobbins or Fields run that shyt in. Ain't nothing guaranteed, breh. After 14', we looked like we were prime to go on a Bama/Clemson like run wit at least 2 titles and yet, here we are. Day coaching/playcalling suspect at times which I did not see. Ref fukkery. In a game where those 6'4 monsters barely did anything, Etienne only had the one big screen for real, made Lawrence look human and we moved on the vaunted BV DEF with ease?? That was OURS.

Just a quick recap.

My problem with Day use of Fields

He never outright got him prepared to throw a bunch of times in a game. The run game is automatic. However, to win NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS you have to throw the ball now days.

LSU...Clemson (yes they haven't thrown a ton throughout the season, but the champions. That carries a certain swagger) were BUILT for these moments.

I told yall during the season and during the 1st half.....DAY passed up a LOT of potential 2 minute drives throughout the season. And did so again during this game. So NOW that he needs it, but are they prepared for it? There's a certain rhythm, chemistry, etc that gets developed. Ohio State simply isn't USE to throwing FORTY times. Its not that they aren't capable. Its not like they couldn't play with tempo. They just didn't do it and now when shyt gets real...you can't close.

Brehs really thinking I'm hating or want a black QB to fail

Nah breh. Day got emotinal as fukk over the missed calls because he simply didn't want to be in a game having to throw to win. He got emotional over the drops because he didn't exude the confidence of "Fukk it...we'll score a TD the next play/series" Just like he could have put the fukking game away before Clemson scored.

Hopefully he learned his lesson. However, don't be thinking shyt sweet next year winning games where the QB throws 22 times. Clemson will be there again next year.
