I think it's time I stop hoping Sydney Jones is gonna get it together

Eagles need to start respecting Rasul as the CB of the present and future

You reach a point where it's impossible to evaluate him due to health, it looked like he pulled the hammy on that long reception by Adams.

It's crazy because he was a CLEAR CUT better prospect than Kev King coming out of Washington, and King's battled some of the same injury woes his first two years, but King looked confident and comfortable last night. Sid still looks shaky and unsure even when he's held his own this year.

I didn't think Maddox was that bad the first few games but he was terrible last night.

Rasul has been the steadiest corner by far but he's only been playing the right side. He needed to shadow Davante all night.

I think if we can get Zestlord to pair with Rasul...we'd be ok and then it will allow McCleod to play better.

The problem is that Schwartz has to play Jenkins as the nickel slot rather than the 2nd lb in the nickel on obvious passing downs. We need to be able to allow Jenkins to play that hybrid LB/S on obvious passing downs.

Avonte is a slot. So is amle du fromege. Sidney I have finally given up on. He can’t even stay healthy. Rasul is surprising me. He’s been through a lot of ups and downs but has a short memory and isn’t afraid to get physical. Darby and mills ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yea I know about the air raid stigma but with the success of Mahomes and philly is drafting backups as "projects" seems like a total wiff...

Jalen Ramsey rumor update:

Word around town, the main hold up with Jalen being traded is, he wont sign an extension upon arrival.

Either he is, trying to control where he goes ( in a perfect world, i read he would love to play in LA with Derwin James)

Or he is trying to drive down the Jags asking price so his new team doesnt deplete their draft capital.

No team is gonna give up two first rounders for a guy you may not sign to an extension...i hope this works in our favor

Sudfield is a capable backup. Trying to hit on 3rd string QB's is a luxury and not essential to success of a team. You just need the 3rd stringer to have a good arm for practice reps.

I never said they needed another QB, but they expressed the desire to always draft and cultivate QBs obviously in case of injury or a tradable asset. They showed that in 2019

Secondly, Sudfeld is ok and i believe he is a free agent after this year. They dont have a backup for 2020. I wasnt making this a huge issue just observation based on my criticism of roseman draft history

Cowherd driving the Wentz bandwagon

Cowherd’s been a fan of Wentz for a long time now. And he’s not wrong, people saying the Eagles should have kept Foles and traded Wentz were dumb as hell. And I also include myself in that.

Excepting the first half of the ATL game, where he lost three of his top receiving threats at the beginning of the game, Wentz has been great this year. Not only is he completely healthy again, but Wentz has improved some areas of his game – through four games, he ranks 10th in TTT, which means he’s getting the ball out faster and progressing through his reads quicker. He is the third-best QB on 3rd Down. He’s been doing a much better job checking the ball down when a play isn’t there downfield.

He’s not 100% perfect, and he and the Eagles still have improvements to make (our 1st quarter offense still sucks ass, which is mostly on Doug and Groh), but if Wentz had a functional secondary and receiving unit, the Eagles would be 4-0 and he’d be in the MVP discussion right now.
