No he wouldn't have. Tyson fought Buster Douglas before he went to prison and we all saw what happened. Holyfield, like Bowe, came into the fight unafraid of Tyson. That's a big part of it.

There's too many "would haves" in Tyson's history and we don't know what would have happened, but we do know Holyfield beat him once and probably would have won another fight convincingly if not for Tyson bailing out of the second one.

Tyson's head movement was so much better when he first came up. He started to get lazy and would get hit too much, not to mention the drugs and partying he was doing. If you read his book, you see how much he screwed himself over. I'm a huge Tyson fan, but I can't argue that he'd beat this guy or that guy in his prime, when he pretty much destroyed himself.

Fan man getting the beats...they let that nikka have it :russ:
holyfield-foreman was a dope fight
tyson damn near looking CW when he came out of jail
Forget how much struggle Holyfield-Czyz was :scust:
Evander showing off the new jack swing footwork :stylin:
Don King and his colorful vocabulary...truly an original :heh:..he was butchering the fukk outta words and names
Love Evander and his strong belief in himself and the Lord but that Benny Hinn shyt..nah :camby:

Fun fact: Tyson fought 12 world champs in his career

Same as Ali (who is considered The Greatest)
More than Joe Louis (Top 5 HW) who fought 10
Only HW that fought more champs than Tyson was Holyfield (19)

Yet people always say Tyson only fought bums :jbhmm:

S.M.B 4 EVER
I watched the documentary on netflix very good. I wish there was more boxing docs out like that. Holyfield didn't want them problems with the GOAT twice, right after beating Griffin the second time and Jones beat Ruiz.
As dominate as Tyson and Holyfield etc were, there was a reason why Roy Jones Jr was the fighter of the decade in the 90s. :blessed:

For ten years making everybody look like nobody.
Now he broke and having Russia pay his tax bill. He still my dude though. :manny:

I expect a lot of people to say that tonight while watching the doc

whats funny is that Tyson was the favorite in the first fight in 96

nikkas would look at you like:rudy: if you said Tyson would lose to holyfield

walk into a barbershop back in 96 and say holyfield will win and see what type of reaction you would get:heh:

its funny how people change their opinion after a fight:russ:

but but but he wasn't at his best

but but but he wasn't in his prime.
Tyson was already washed when he got out of prison.

You cats in here really trying to act like Holyfield beat a prime Mike Tyson now? :beli:

My nikka they dont hear you tho..Tyson unified the titles in under 8 months of winning his first belt..making him the youngest heavyweight champ in history, youngest undisputed champ in history and the youngest lineal champ....then he went back and beat the guys they beat for the belts..he cleaned out the top 10..put in 9 defenses of the title..good enough for 7th all time...was considered the p4p best fighter in the world by every boxing publication which is unheard of for a heavyweight..all under 3yrs..I mean shyt if you want actual accomplishments not bullshyt like ''he never got off the floor blah blah'' I can keep going..it was a reason he was considered head was considered head and shoulders above his contemporaries...Holyfield and Lewis included..keep it funky..Tyson is a all time great..and if you talking accomplishments he is def in the top 10..where you place him is your opinion

Tyson would have probably beat Holyfield back when they were supposed to first fight. Though we will never know i will always believe that in my heart. But i dont think he would have ever beaten Bowe or Lennox unless he landed that one clean punch. They were to long for him and both had underrated boxing skills and great power. They would have always been a problem for Tyson no matter what age they met.
