nikkas is stupid, first of all Tyson went into that fight with a ear infection and this was his first step up fight and he still won, so where was this wake up call? you nikkas sound like you sold more into the Tyson hype than anyone else, sounding all disappointed he aint knock him out as if that detracts from him as a fighter

I'm not trying to make excuses for Tyson and Holyfield probably still would've beaten him but I feel the first fight was pretty even in the first 6 rounds. I think the turning point was when Holyfield hit tyson with the low blow. After they squared up Holyfield really did damage to Tyson that I felt affected after they squared up again. The third round I'll always wonder what woulda happened had Tyson not bit Holyfield. He was having a great round against Holyfield before he lost it and bit the dude. Tyson even looked like he was making adjustments in the first few minutes of that round shaking his head and messing with Holyfield's timing. Again Holyfield was good enough to still have won but I"ll always wonder.

No he wouldn't have. Tyson fought Buster Douglas before he went to prison and we all saw what happened. Holyfield, like Bowe, came into the fight unafraid of Tyson. That's a big part of it.
There's too many "would haves" in Tyson's history and we don't know what would have happened, but we do know Holyfield beat him once and probably would have won another fight convincingly if not for Tyson bailing out of the second one.
