bit off more than they could chew. now the UK govt needs to get involved and go with german style ownership: 51% owned by the supporters. or at a minimum supporters own the freehold to the stadium and the team name like the chelsea pitch owners. that way without the supporters they have to fukk off and create a new team.

They should be relegated :yeshrug: beyond ownership rules being changed they should be sent down and humbled. The EFL is full of bottlers so they'd probably have them but if I had it my way they'd be sent to the Conference and have to work their way up. The smaller teams down the pyramid would get a day out and get to go to the big grounds and get their FA Cup like dream payday by having these clubs come visit. It would also show them how fleeting these bandwagon supporters are that they were willing to gut football for when they're all running around in West Ham shirts.

Just having them carry on like nothing happened would be rewarding bad behaviour.

I'm a Liverpool supporter but they should ban us all one season from champions league. These owners basically said fukk the domestic leagues, champions league and international games :francis:

Which is why a lot of teams don't even try

They didn't have to pay for the stadium so they don't care if fans come

And fans will still come when they play the good teams, to see the other sides players

They'll get money off TV contracts that are driven by the actually good teams including the couple prime time games they get every year even though they are trash
