Elaborate?

Because the citizens of North Korea disagrees.
Sanctions: How to Hurt North Korea’s People Rather than their Government
Sanctions: How to Hurt North Korea’s People Rather than their Government

You also outlined Africans should kill everyone "white looking."

Yeah lets ignore one of the biggest issues in Africa which is corrupt leaders like those in Nigeria, Ethiopia, Angola(sadly), the DRC, Rwanda and other places. Yes Africa faces outside problems such as global white supremacy, but of course hoteps like you dig your heads in the sand and ignore the problems that are internal... This is why I glad ACTUAL Africans like @Northern Son @MansaMusa exist who don't flipping out their heads in the sand.

This ISN'T the 60s or 70s anymore where Western nations could just up and assassinate any leader they want we're in the era of globalization(the world much smaller) and social media where anything can be seen/tracked easily. A perfect example of this the Burkina Faso uprising. What you think a "white population" in Nigeria is holding Nigeria back? Or is it the corrupt leaders? Anyone with common sense can give the right question.

Like I said Africa needs competent leaders or like @Sauanaffe Tustunnagee said QUALITY GOVERNANCE. Not killing anything "white looking."

Yet USA for example has the largest economy in the world with metro cities alone that have a GDP more higher than most countries. And the world dollar connected to the world economy. Along with having the most capital. Meanwhile Russian for example is in a recession. :heh:

I'm not saying Africa NEEDS to trade with the USA/Europe(I have pointed out many times how Chinese trade is the most benefit), but pointing out how unrealistic your views are...

No one said Africa NEEDS to align itself with the USA. And Russia.:heh:

The same Russia that is running out of cash.:heh:

SCO is a better alternative.

More loony hotep talk.

Whenever someone attempts to use African words as perjorative, it becomes clear who you are (were) dealing with.

Alone in a mason jar... pickled... and walled up.

Gonna take armed revolt to succeed. Current government leaders took up arms to seize power, they didn't protest.

u missing the forest for the trees as usual :aicmon:under Ethiopia's current government the country has undergone an economic and development boom which has led to more jobs and improvements in housing stock, medical, and water infrastructure which has benefited all Ethiopians and what should be the bottom line:martin:furthermore last time i checked the Ethiopian people voted their current government in ofice and i'm not mistaken all ethnic regions of Ethiopia are giving semi autonomy/have their own government officials to rep their people's interest

and that's not even including the fact the most powerful man/politician in Ethiopia's government is this man:Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn Boshe(a non Tigray breh from an minority Southern Ethiopian tribe)

bbbut the Somali,Eritrean, and anti Ethiopian government Ethiopia diaspora cyber revolutionaries posting from their homes in Europe,Merjkkka and Cacnada said the Ethiopian government is completely and unjustly dominated by Tigray:childplease:

Ethiopia probably has one of the most inclusive governments in Africa..where else are all regions of the country giving semi autonomy and a person from a small tribe from a peripheral region of the country able to become the leader of the country:martin:he clowns constantly bytching Ethiopians government is unfairly dominated by one tribe most likely cacs/enemies of Ethiopia trying to sow the seeds of division in among Ethiopians or tribalist cyber rebels mad their ethnic group isn't in the position they claim Tigray hold:russell:

Not to say that I'm an advocate of the government but I don't know why it hasn't crossed more people's minds that this could be some diversionary shyt to slow development.

The Woyane's aren't doing themselves any favors though by locking up journalists, killing protesters, and silencing leaders of the political opposition. Real shyt, if the government was really honestly about development then they'd at least look into opening up the space for opposing views. They can avoid a civil war type situation but they need to act fast and hold real, transparent elections while bringing forth a campaign to educate the population politically as soon as possible so real democracy can actually be practiced. My thing is that I feel as though this government was fukked up from the start. While it might sound like a good idea to make all ethnic groups semi-autonomous and have representation in government it's sowed the seeds for balkanization. Ironic how a lot of these opposition voices are western educated but can't even see the neo-colonial fukkery taking place and how they're playing right into it.

I really feel bad for the people on the ground. They're being put against each other and yet all of them are the ones living fukked up.

A lot of misinformation in this thread but I can't blame too many of y'all.

Similar to how Trump won the election, a lot of diaspora are falling victim to fake news cycles which are focused moreso on rallying a certain demographic, pushing a certain agenda, or making profit at the cost of development.

Has Ethiopia come a long way? Yes
Do we have a long way to go? Yes

Is destabilization the best way to go about it? Looking at all the recent "springs" and revolutions. I would have to say no.

Will the west come to the aid of the diaspora? Again, looking at their relationship with ET, I don't think they will be supporting armed revolutionists anytime soon.

So what's the solution? Put up or shutup. Come on back to ET and see what it really is and how you can make change. Otherwise, you just slowing down people's internet with your fake news retweets that haven't been verified or fact checked.

And if you want to talk about oppressive gov'ts, feel free to start with China as a system before looking to Africa.

lol, I feel you on the protestors they're arguably worse than the govt they have absolutely no plan to speak of and instigated the people to destroy infrastructure while they sit on their ass in some random western nation. But I think it can be agreed that politicizing culture ended up being a bad move by the govt. It was initially a smart idea, but I think it lends itself to potential balkanization. Cultural tolerance and unity is one thing, but politicizing tribe is a dangerous move.

This is why I wasn't fukkin with the protestors at all. shyt was a bunch of hot air in the diaspora, a bunch of :flabbynsick: playing armchair politician. Every time I asked what the plan was, what was preferred, no one can offer specifics of any kind. Its just "fukk Tigrays" or "fukk Oromos" or whatever dumb shyt and no one goes to the country to see what's going on. That's why the shyt blows my mind sometimes, everyone generally gets along on the ground because everyone relies on each other in order to survive. I've got plenty of criticisms of the govt, but Ethiopia needs infrastructure and cheap energy if it's going to become a viable country. I'd hope a more robust and advanced discourse with constructive criticisms can come about in the diaspora and we can collectively improve the country.

shyt....correct me if i'm wrong. is the current leader a person installed by foreign powers?

Nah, well at least not on the surface. The protest movement brought the current leader to power. However the extremist/ethnonationalist elements in the protest movement have turned against him and the former rulers are using this schism to their advantage.
