I created this topic because I recently began using the apps just to see what's up locally. In the handful of days I've been using it, I've seen the term ENM pop up more than I would have liked. Upon research it means ethically non monogamous. What it basically means is that the woman can see whomever she wants because there's an understanding that this is who she is. My question is are men that desperate to be in a situation where they'll essentially be the third wheel in their own relationship? It can't be that bad out there to voluntarily cuck yourself.

This is on the assumption that men can easily get women like women can get men. We know that this isn't the case more times than not. A man has to work to get women. Women just point and choose who they want.

Uuum isn’t an ENM relationship supposed to be where BOTH the people in the couple can date/see other people as long as it’s an understanding and communication between the 2 in the couple?

Why are you assuming the men are just sitting at home doing nothing in this situation? The only man that agrees to that arrangement is one who knows he can easily get p*ssy or is some sort of cuckold that enjoys knowing his girlfriend is being smashed by someone else.

Those kind of arrangements can ONLY ever work if youre the kind of guy that gets women easily. I've seen many stories of men who think they can do that, and then get humbled real quick when they realize that their girlfriend has a much easier time attracting men than he does attracting women.
