Skydance, ‘Jurassic World’ Scribe Derek Connolly Tackling Sega’s ‘Eternal Champions’ (Exclusive)
Sega released the fighting game in 1993.

I can't see this movie being any good and I loved the video game
I remember how disappointing the game was. I know some of yall liked it tho.
Not holding my breath but you don't do all the characters and try to make them the focus. You take 3 of them, kind of like they did with Mortal Kombat back in 95. Then build around that. A problem you run into these days is that everyone wants/thinks EVERYONE should be in the project. And that's just not viable/feasible.You're talking about taking 10 or 11 characters telling their backgrounds in a pretty decent manner as well as their times and then setting up the tournament to who survives, and explaining the External Champion.
BTNH sampled this? Never knew damn

I was a big Sega head back then and was highly anticipating this game too. But it just felt outdated and bland when it finally dropped. I still have the cartridge and fired it up a year or so ago. Brought back memories.I loved the game. Yeah the premise may have been better than the product but I remember enjoying it, cause the story was fun and kind of original.
That being said barring a miracle this movie will be ass.
