That's not the only aspect of defense dummy. He ain't a elite defender

He has great rim protecting numbers despite playing the 4 most of the time and having had shytty defenders like Rose and Melo in front of him, both of whom are some of the worst defenders at their respective positions. shyt atleast Gobert, Whiteside, and Embiid have more than decent perimeter defenders in front of them and KP still keeps up with those guys in terms of rim protection.

But this irrational posting regarding KP is prevalent with Melo stans so I shouldnt be surprised

How the hell is it irrational to say kp isn't a elite defender yet. You the one brought up all this other shyt.

the Melo, Wade, Bosh slander is too much for me :mjlol:

Motherfukkin Wade should if 2 Finals MVP's if Bron played like just a mere all star in 2011

Bosh defense and timely rebounding saved 2015 for the Heat

Bosh & Wade at 85% is better than 95% of the NBA 5 years ago.

Y'all niqqas acting like he won with Ryan Andersen & Jeff Teague :russ:

Bron is the best in the league but come the fukk on. Melo was a beast 5 years ago and still is not as good but not far off

Man, shut the fukk up. Is Melo playing elite defense on Rose in 2011 and locking him up in the fourth? Is he switching onto Rondo and KG on the same possession against Boston?

You saying 85% but Bosh missed almost the entire Celtics and Pacers series with a torn groin that was so bad that he needed immediate surgery after the playoffs ended, even deciding to duck out a free gold Olympic medal. Wade was getting his knee drained that same season and sorely injured for the rest of the seasons except the first.

Melo can't do what Bron could. That Heat squad had huge holes that only could be patched by Lebron's versatility. Melo isn't the passer, on-ball defender, defensive anchor in a blitzing defense, transition threat, efficient scorer, or nearly as durable nor does he have Lebron's IQ/Court Awareness/Motor

But you want Melo blitzing PnR defenses, playing defensive linebacker to cut off passing angles in an extremely complicated scheme, and being the main defensive voice?

nikka, I guarantee you that you didn't watch nearly as many Heat games as I have. Shut the fukk up.

Melo ain't doing what Lebron did. Maybe if you talking 2007-11 Wade and he never gets injured.

Y'all niqqas retarded. I never said he would have to be Bron for one. Never said he would have won or appeared in as many finals as Bron. But to say it's out of the realm of possibility is crazy.

My last thing if every team stayed the same over the last 7 years except Bron & Melo swapping teams how many finals appearance do both have

You said he won at least two. That's stupid as fukk. What playoff run is he going through where he'd win?

Melo isn't the defender or efficient scorer that Bron is so how sure are you that he gets past the Celtics or Bulls in 2011? Does he anchor an elite defense as the best rim protector, scorer, and rebounder when Bosh goes down in 2012? Does he generate easy points like Bron when he goes against OKC in the finals? You trusting him to guard Durant like you did for Bron?

Which GSW or Spurs team is Melo leading the Heat/Cavs past that Lebron didn't?

That would average to 2.1 players per team (including the Knicks) better than Melo. If someone can name 2 players on every team better than Melo I wanna hear it, for real.

The disrespect they're piling on Melo is getting ridiculous.
:wow:

I mean, that's not how math works, but I respect your overall point nonetheless.
