It was a good competitive fight until the last few rounds to me
Crawford always had control but I was surprised how sloppy he was sometimes. I don't think he can come in swinging getting tagged up against Spence the way he did in this fight.
The ESPN presentation was good. I like Ward and it seemed like they were really trying present the fighters positively.

Thurman is no joke either..so he would have to be on top of his game..especially if Thurman comes back like the Thurman we know.

Crawford has deceptive timing, Not only can he land counter punches from the distance, he also can land big well placed punches during the wild exchanges. We've seen him do it over and over again but i do believe a true counter puncher with good power, and can take Crawford's power long enough to be able to stand toe-to-toe gives him hell and likely stops him in the future. Question is who will be able to do that?

Don't count Crawford out against Spence but don't count Spence out either

Jose is a good fighter who was not ready. When you fight a leopard like Crawford, you have to be mentally on his plane or above. Jose didn't have that, and that is because of experience. He doesn't have Crawford's talent but he's a good fighter who could have performed better had he been more seasoned.

Careful matchmaking for Crawford is whats needed at 147. If this dude had the work rate and skill set of Jessie Vargas Crawford would've been in serious trouble. Crawford isn't elite at '47
