coming from somebody who was just all up in arms about functionality, how does fragmentation effect functionality? android is open source. Not something i don't expect you to understand though.Like windows, it can go on any hardware that can support its drivers. Like you can run programs on one computer and not on the other. when people list NFC as a functional selling point and the majority of users don't have the feature i'm saying why is it even being brought up? its a crapshoot whether or not the Android user i encounter will be able to bump phones and share anything and odds are they won't be able to.
when the majority of Android phones in use on the market have NFC then its a selling point. i can't use my iOS phone to bump another phone and share contacts but most Android users can't do that either.
