i chose iOS over Android. i had an EVO LTE i just got last year and that same year i went out and paid $600 for an iPhone 5. i still own the EVO as a back up phone since you can't insure the iPhone through Sprint and can go back to Android whenever i want.

the first week or two i was so used to Android i wanted to go back but after i adjusted to iOS i realized there's really no difference in terms of functionality. most of the things people are bragging about on Android are features most users would play around with their first month or less then after they get settled into the device they get things the way they like them and don't toy with anymore.

Cool story bro! :clap::thumbsup:

by the time the next version of Android comes to your device the partner companies already have a device on deck to replace yours and that update will likely be the last version your device gets because they want you to buy the next iteration of your device.

Android always had a fragmentation problem with users here boasting about features like NFC that all Android phones don't even have.

Android really needs to stop all the cheap low and mid tier phones and limit the selection to just flagship devices.

again you sound stupid breh..

coming from somebody who was just all up in arms about functionality, how does fragmentation effect functionality? android is open source. Not something i don't expect you to understand though. :yeshrug: Like windows, it can go on any hardware that can support its drivers. Like you can run programs on one computer and not on the other. Its not that hard to understand why the fragmentation is there breh, yall cats are really trying to discredit android when its the developers that make it what it is, not Google. Something that could never happen with Apple because...You guessed it, its not open source.

I'm not the only one who thinks this. Go read some tech blogs and reviews not written by android/ios stans

:snoop:

All android phones arent meant to be supported forever. They are way too many phones to be maintained. The flagship get maintain for 2 years or buy a Nexus.

Low end android are sold on prepaid carriers
mid range and high end phones are all on JB- ex. razr M, atrix and one S

Maybe because there's more people that own OLDER Android phones which haven't yet (or won't) receive the Jelly Bean update. Jelly Bean is less than a year old, as is Ice Cream Sandwich, the previous update. Use common sense when ingesting statistics, son.

:umad:

Still makes your "we got it out of the box" or "native apps" argument null and void because the truth is most android users don't have those features as native or out of the box. And when new features are developed most users will NEVER be able to use them without buying a new device.

That's funny, because I never made that argument. :rudy:

Ice Cream Sandwich >>>>> iOS6

Jelly Bean >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> iOS 6
