Let me educate you. When English colonists first established themselves in what we now call America, blacks started out as indentured servants on the same level as whites, many even were free men working as sailors and laborers.

You could even go so far as ancient Rome where skin tone did not matter. Slaves were all of colors and freed individuals were too.

It's only when rich white landowners became aware that the poorer whites were getting agitated with their predicament they turned them on blacks. Look at all the blackface propaganda, racist cartoons and movies that were created in the Jim crow era. All that was a plot ensure whites remained as the hounddog for their rich handlers.


Everyone is predisposed to ethnocentricities. That's a human genetic survival trait. It's not about superiority as much as weariness about people who don't share the same biological traits as yourself

I stopped reading at the first bolded part. All of the bolded hence is not true. I will respond to your final underlined paragraph however:

There's this weird penchant where black people with voices feel the need to be inclusive to everyone not black. Black activists, "intellectuals", and liberals cape for this "solidarity" and coalition of all races that has no valid basis. The biggest signifier is using the term "POC".

You'll notice this everytime:

"...and other oppressed people", "... and other people of color" "and solidarity for all POCs..." "And ALL poor people..."

Notice everyone else's struggles HAVE to be shoehorned in ours, in some little tidbit or fashion.

Alot of these new school blacktwittertumblrsjw types abuse this usage of the term poc and it needs to go. The black struggle has been unique and to include others in 8t diminishes the issues and history and basically ignores centuries of racism, colonization, slavery, and disenfranchisment that still lopsidedly plagues the black community.

But ill just say it...if other so called black activists and young black people are hanging onto this "poc solidarity" and being mules for them...we just might be finished in this country.
