If that was the case, why wouldn't Boogie just come to the Wiz when his deal is up? Where else would they go together that would make a legit championship squad? Pass on 42 mill a year to try and maybe link with Cousins? Doubt it.
What @FAH1223 said. We don't have the cap space. That's why I said we have to move the centers.

Yes. You have to trade a first for Demarcus. That's fine. Gortat expires in 2019. Mahinmi expires in 2020.

We'd have to hope Cousins signs a 1+1 with NOLA next summer. If he's available at the 2018 deadline, then we can pounce then.

The problem with trading 1st rounders is that it's a cheap 4 year investment in a kid you can bring off the bench and develop at a decent pace. It's an asset. Grunfail continually mismanages them and is lazy with regards to the draft. You have the Warriors and Spurs always drafting kids and they are winning 60 games. They realize the value of a cheap contract producing well.

Trading it for Bogdanovic and then claiming McCullogh is your pick this year is stupid as shid esp when that kid has been injured and the Nets gave up on him in his 2nd year.
You make up history to fit your twisted view :smh:

Nets gave up on him eh :sas2:

Why say something like that bruh, seriously, where did you get that from

Nothing sounds more like a championship Spurs team than Demarcus Cousins & John Wall LOL

With Kawhi and Pop... and a bench full of young development guys... yeah they'd challenge GSW

They picked McCullogh in 2015. 2 years later they give up on him to take on Nicholson's deal.

The Nets, starved for talent, gave up on one of their own 1st round picks. Watch Summer League today and you'll see why.

They LOSE money every year. Dollars wise they are one of the smallest markets in the NBA
The Wizards lose money because they ain't been shyt for all of our lives.

Leonsis owns the arena and it is in downtown DC. This is a poorly ran team, not a small market. Look at Golden State. They were our sister team out west with the same mess and lost money every year in an older and smaller arena. They good and now they print money.

The Caps used to lose money too until they started winning.

His deal is up next summer when he opts out.

Wiz have no cap space in 2018.

We have the most incompetent GM in the NBA.

Look at the draft history

2011 R1 pick (#6) -- player out of the league in 2 years
2011 R1 pick (#18) -- player out of the league in 2 years
2011 high R2 pick -- player waived
2012 R1 pick -- Brad Beal
2012 high R2 pick -- pick Tomas Satoransky who stays 4 years in Europe then is below average (meanwhile, Draymond Green, Jae Crowder, Khris Middleton, Will Barton all went elsewhere)
2012 R2 pick (#49) -- thrown in as part of Okariza trade (meanwhile Kyle O'Quinn becomes very solid rotation NBA Center)
2013 R1 pick -- Otto Porter
2013 high R2 pick -- player out of league in 2 years
2014 R1 pick -- traded for 1-year player rental (Gortat, who re-signed for 5 years $60M)
2014 R2 pick -- sold for cash
2015 R 1 pick -- Kelly Oubre
2015 R2 pick -- given away in trade for player with team for 1 year (Miller: this is from memory)
2016 R1 pick -- traded for below average-average PF (Markeef Morris)
2016 R2 pick -- traded to move up in 2015 R1 to get Oubre
2017 R1 pick -- traded for zip (dumping Nicholson contract, getting a 30 game rental in Bogdanovic, and a bust in McCullogh)
2017 R2 pick -- traded for Tim Frazier

The only problem I have is he traded away a lottery pick in the 09 draft, you don't make the distinction that wall, Beal, and little were no brainer picks and finally there's no guarantee any player would prosper on the wizards.

I have a theory that the only reason Oubre is improving at all is because he's surrounded by those three, otherwise wizards organisation would be unable to help develop his game.
