If you had a player that didn't wanna be there and wasn't under contract, why would I give you anything for his services? That's why Phoenix just signed him straight up instead of trying to negotiate a S&T. That's why RFA's have yet to be signed and traded in the RFA era. The flipside is that Gordon goes to Phoenix, NO gets nothing, Gordon blows up and even if NO manages to do well without him (which they can), we'll all be saying, "NO is aight, but imagine if they still had Eric Gordon"
If you have a team and you just let players go just because they don't wanna be there, you're gonna find out nobody wants to be on your team. Again, if it's about the injuries, I could understand (and then not understand why you made him the centerpiece of a trade involving the best player your team ever had). If it's about him as a player when healthy, it's bullshyt.
If it were me and he's really faking, I'd just tell him to rehab and get your knee ready for 2017 because that'll be the next time he sees an NBA court.
Why do you have Will Conroy in your pic?
