In the NBA , when a nigguh dont want to play for you, that decision is already made. Even scrub players can do this. Derek Fisher did it to Housotn last season. Jim Jackson did it to the Hawks. Francis did it to the Grizzlies. Thats an example on all three levels. The scrub, mle player, and the superstar.

NOw the gm for the Hornets have to sell low because every other gm knows dude dont want to be there. Just bad executive thinking and execution.

Actually, maybe Dell Demps purposely matched the max offer saying - "if this bozo wants out, somebody gonna have to cough shyt up to get him." :ehh:

What's the earliest he can be traded, December something?

And Tremont co signed this contract

I did. Off talent alone you had to. Him being a straight up hoe ass bytch about this isn't gonna do him any favors with anyone else. A healthy Eric Gordon to some of y'all is a top 5 SG (and plenty of y'all have a higher opinion of him than I do so that's saying a lot) so why not pay him accordingly?

If he's still hurt then that's fukked up and it woulda fukked up any team he was on. If your concerns were about his injury history, then it's completely understandable why you'd criticize the deal. If it's just about him "not wanting to be there" and letting go of a talent like that when talent like that is hard to find (for nothing on top of that), you can't let people do that shyt because after a while, everyone will do it to you.

If he's a hurt faker, he better invest wisely, because he won't see money after this. Nobody would trust him again.

:snoop: if he doesn't want to be there and tells you that you can't sign him. You can't give a unmotivated player a max contract it's better to let them go if you can't sign and trade

NO was being stubborn. No way were they about to let him get away without getting something in return. He was the key piece in the Chris Paul trade.Wouldn't have looked to good to just let him waltz off to Phoenix

The Suns offered up some shyt in a S&T, but NO told them to kick rocks.

I had a bad feeling about this situation.I was hoping they wouldn't match that deal because I'd been saw the bytch in BG.I didn't think he was bluffing when he said he didn't want to play in NO

He put that franchise in a fukked up situation

If you had a player that didn't wanna be there and wasn't under contract, why would I give you anything for his services? That's why Phoenix just signed him straight up instead of trying to negotiate a S&T. That's why RFA's have yet to be signed and traded in the RFA era. The flipside is that Gordon goes to Phoenix, NO gets nothing, Gordon blows up and even if NO manages to do well without him (which they can), we'll all be saying, "NO is aight, but imagine if they still had Eric Gordon"

If you have a team and you just let players go just because they don't wanna be there, you're gonna find out nobody wants to be on your team. Again, if it's about the injuries, I could understand (and then not understand why you made him the centerpiece of a trade involving the best player your team ever had). If it's about him as a player when healthy, it's bullshyt.

If it were me and he's really faking, I'd just tell him to rehab and get your knee ready for 2017 because that'll be the next time he sees an NBA court.

Hornets played themselves. Gordon told them during the summer he didn't want to come back & not to match the Phx offer. Not only did they match, they gave dude the max. No type of logical thinking there. It's going to be difficult to trade him, teams are going to be lowballing like a motherfukker for him because of his injury history.

I don't blame him for milking an injury or saying he's hurt. He's in the driving seat in this. It's either he doesn't play for them & gets paid or he gets traded out.

This dude is a fakkit if he doesn't wanna be there. They're a promising team with solid leadership in coach, ownership & front office.

The future is bright over there, and last night's game should be a good indicator: Davis, Aminu, Vasquez, Lopez, Darius Miller, Rivers.

Maybe he doesn't like Williams' style.

I really hope this dude is hurt in way exams didn't capture. Otherwise.... good lord is this a horrible look for a professional. Fuel for the usual racist theories about black athletes too. :snoop:

He's not in the driver's seat. He was getting paid regardless. Phoenix guaranteed him that. It's either deal him at a loss and find out he was faking as he beats your ass for 4 years or pay him but in the process let him know he's costing himself 4 years of his NBA career because he's unwilling to see how it's like to grow with a team that has Anthony Davis, Ryan Anderson, Austin Rivers, Al-Farouq Aminu and at least 2 more lotto picks on the way. It's his basketball funeral.
