bischoff turned WCW's business around before there even was an NWO.

I think Hogan & bischoff either sabotaged TNA purposely or they were legitimately stuck in the past trying to recreate the "wcw going mainstream" formula, which worked because WCW was already a big company, and not an upstart like TNA.

Hoegan was getting booed out the building as a face in WCW before the NWO angle, without the Kliq showing up WCW would've been dead long before it did

nitro was beating raw in the ratings when hall & nash were still in the wwf.

what does Hogan getting booed in wcw have to do with what I said about bischoff?

and of course babyface Hogan was getting booed in WCW country. different crowd breh. the same way they didn't care at all about bret hart.
especially the way hogan kept going over flair & vader.

Orton is a star tho.

That RKO finisher has been the most over finisher in the wwe for some years now.

The problem with orton is that he doesn't really put that effort in like he used to. His evolution/legend killer days is a perfect example of Orton in top notch form.

that move was crazy over before orton even got into wrestling.

DDP got that move over. the same guy that supposedly isn't as star, according to @Da King.

Also couldn't create one new star, Kevin Sullivan was the one behind Goldberg

DDP anybody? raven & beniot were stars too.

and its hard to create new stars when your main event scene is already over-crowded to begin with.

I heard they were going to split WCW's roster in half around that time.

Ok but he still got over, which is the most important thing no matter what push and advantages over others you had. For every Orton protected and pushed you got failures like Davey Boy JR, Steamboat Jr, first drew galloway run, etc. You still need to get over and unfortunately Orton did

none of those guys were pushed remotely close to the level of how orton was pushed.

I didn't even know steamboat's son wrestles. Is that the same son he used to drag around in WCW?

Because they aren't tall white muscuar and the son and grandson of two wrestling legends. Randy Orton is like Charlotte in that way, except Charlotte is actually a good heel and puts in effort.

Orton is not interesting at all. He was forced for over a decade and became a mainstay due to sheer willpower of the backstage folks.

fukk that cac and all his fans.
Some of these people randomly caping for Orton didn't care about him a few years ago.

Orton a believable tough guy? :russ:

It will flop like all his face runs

Crowd so bored of Orton they were chanting for HBGOAT and savage, dude was :dwillhuh: in the ring

Embarrassing to watch

Galloway had the Vince cosign immediately and won the IC belt drawing crickets. At least Orton was a jobber for a year before Evolution

The diamond cutter & the RKO isn't even executed the same tho.

Orton has way more elevation on the cutter.

No doubt people been going crazy for years for that RKO. It's a testament to how popular he's been over these years.

cena & orton were clearly the 2 main new guys that were introduced that year, that the WWE was grooming to be next up - besides brock lesnar, of course.
