That RKO finisher has been the most over finisher in the wwe for some years now.

The problem with orton is that he doesn't really put that effort in like he used to. His evolution/legend killer days is a perfect example of Orton in top notch form.

Being able to gauge the crowd response/mood is a major aspect of being a good worker which Orton doesn't care about. Those "flippy" indy guys are very good in that department which is why crowds actually care about their matches.

That's been my been my argument this whole time. People who've always been in the E system and people who wrestled before the 2000s no idea what the 98% do to get put on in wrestling today.

Most of these guys aren't wrestling full-time so of course they can take more chances than WWE guys that wrestle 4 times a week.
