According to the WON, several people who interacted with Bischoff during his time in TNA were shocked that he was brought into WWE and predicted that he would not last. This apparently became obvious when Bischoff arrived and was unfamiliar with the talent involved and many of the changes in the business; the expectation was that it became more about how the company would handle the release publicly after making such a high-profile announcement of Bischoff’s hiring along with the promotion of Paul Heyman to Raw executive director.

Prichard, who has replaced Bischoff, pushed for him to be hired for the position. Prichard has a long-term relationship with McMahon and he is much more familiar with the company’s structure than Bischoff, who one official said “had absolutely no vision, and once we were headed into FOX, everything was falling through the cracks. He messed up multiple times with FOX. Eric also had no stamina for the rigors of the job.” It was also noted that people complained that on some days Bischoff would become impossible to reach after he was done with his workday at around 7pm
:laff: Isn't Eric a pull yourself up by your bootstraps republican?

So basically Bischoff doesnt give a fukk about wrestling anymore and just uses his tenure in the business to collect checks. He isnt going to be successful in the business anywhere cause he is no longer passionate about it. Thats why his podcast is about that small time he was doing good in the business. Well if thats the case then wwe are idiots for not hiring Heyman to run smackdown, in the first place, knowing that they had the fox deal in the bag. The Fox deal is more important than Raw on USA, Vince will have to realize that or the ratings will continue to tank. and going by this weeks show, it sounds like more of the same boring pointless matches and shytty creative

Bischoff prolly got sick of the bullshyt WWE/Vince shyt.

Imagine being in a meeting wit Vince booking SD till 3AM. Then Friday morning comes and Vince re-writes all tha shyt u booked in da fukkin meeting that lasted to 3AM. I see why Eric was like “fukk it”

:russ:
Yeah tbh all the info that has come out from Bruce and Jr in recent years with these podcast you basically have to be a yes man when working with Vince and ain't no off time lol.

this is 100% facts. It seems like every week there’s a story about Vince changing the entire show an hour before it airs live. Morherfukker I ain’t going to stay up until 3am with a bunch of marks to write a damn show for nothing in the end. Honestly Bischoff is terrible but this excuse is entirely plausible and I accept it. fukk Vince and his horseshyt.

I don’t understand how they have heads of creative and tons of writers..and put out shyt that a middle schooler could come up with dolo.

Hire a bunch of writers that don't know shyt about wrestling, have what they write get filtered through the mind of a 74 year old man that's out of touch, then have that 74 year old out of touch man throw everything in the trash an hour before the show so he can rewrite during the show.

The mental image of Vinny Mac having late meetings with creative until 3 in the morning going over the run down for the weeks episode of Raw/Smackdown and that month’s PPV is :mindblown:

Then the thought of him CHANGING his mind the DAY OF the show, tearing up the script and re-writing the show from scratch is :gucci:

Every writer that left that company always has the same story. You are writing for an audience of one. Vincent Kennedy McMahon.

Until Hunter takes over...this is the reality we are in now with that company. And it’s a damn shame..
