Jeffrey Epstein’s gal pal Ghislaine Maxwell donated $1,000 to New York-Presbyterian Hospital after the two of them allegedly brought one of his accusers there for treatment following a sexual assault, according to a British news report.
Maxwell also gave $350 to a New York City charity that aids victims of child sex trafficking at the same time Epstein was negotiating a controversial plea deal in Florida amid allegations he abused underage girls, the Telegraph said.
Maxwell’s contributions were made by her Max Foundation TR, which was run by her and one of Epstein’s lawyers, the Telegraph said, citing financial records.
Other beneficiaries of Maxwell’s private charity included the Clinton Foundation, which in 2003 received the foundation’s biggest donation ever of $2,500, the Telegraph said.
The New York-Presbyterian donation was made on May 2, 2007, about six years after Virginia Giuffre has claimed that Maxwell and Epstein took her to the Upper East Side hospital following abuse inflicted by Epstein, the Telegraph said.
The contribution to Girls Educational & Mentoring Services, also known as GEMS, was reportedly made on April 15, 2008, less than two months before Epstein pleaded guilty in Palm Beach to two counts of solicitation of prostitution, one involving a minor.
The multimillionaire financier served 13 months in prison, with much of the time on work release, for that conviction.
He was awaiting trial on federal child sex-trafficking charges when he hanged himself in a Lower Manhattan lockup on Aug. 10, officials have said.
Maxwell hasn’t been charged with any crimes, but has been accused in civil suits of having recruited underage victims for Epstein – and of engaging in three-way sex with him and various girls.
US Attorney General William Barr last week warned that an investigation was continuing and that Epstein’s suspected co-conspirators “should not rest easy.”
Neither New York-Presbyterian nor GEMS immediately returned requests for comment.

A Buckingham Palace statement said: "The Duke of York has been appalled by the recent reports of Jeffrey Epstein's alleged crimes.
"His Royal Highness deplores the exploitation of any human being and the suggestion he would condone, participate in or encourage any such behaviour is abhorrent."

According to court filings, another of Epstein's accusers, Virginia Roberts, claimed she was forced to have sex with the prince on three occasions - in London, New York and on a private Caribbean island owned by Epstein - between 1999 and 2002, when she was under-age according to US law.
But Buckingham Palace has branded the allegations "false and without any foundation", stating: "Any suggestion of impropriety with under-age minors" by the duke was "categorically untrue".

One of the young women on the trip told the Daily Mail how the prince personally welcomed the party to the castle in mid-1999 – after the disgraced US financier had already begun recruiting dozens of underage girls as sex slaves.
It comes after revelations that Andrew even visited Epstein – who killed himself in prison this month – at his home in New York in 2010. This was two years after Epstein had been convicted of sex with a child.
