Entourage in retrospect was just not a quality show

I mean it was kind of awesome.. but really it was like a glorified Cribs.

that formula would not work for a whole movie... Honestly how did they even get this financed?? :rudy:

Exactly Vince is a lame duck actor that supposed be so good but yet is a third rate member of the cast . Matter of fact have any of these guys done a damn thing since the show went off the air.

Even jeremy piven is questionable as a movie actor

Ill admit he was great in entourage though. Ari had soooo much more depth then every other character

these brehs aint done shyt since the show died painfully :to:

as much as the last two seasons pissed me off, i will always look back fondly on this show. reminds me of my sunday nights as a young 19 year old dreamer high as giraffe p*ssy

the problem is i'm not that dude anymore and i think the people that are those guys will be too young to appreciate the movie when it comes out

For sure.. I can't hate on entourage too hard I used to love that show.

But lets be real the acting was always pretty uninspired... the writing had serious flaws too

The first major mistake they made was the medellin plot line. the writers really went overboard with how poorly received that movie was. No one in hollywood fukks up thaaaaat bad (well except for Will Smith). from then on the storyline was all over the place.

The writers couldnt decide whether or not they wanted Vince to be a respected actor.

Thats a decision they should have made from the very beginning. and since he's based on marky mark they should have just gone with "not very well respected" :heh:

yeah vince was huge as aquaman, marky mark had to work his way up to a respected supporting role in the departed. he didnt jump out the gate. so they in essence abandoned that idea pretty quickly. when medellin was bought for a dollar at cannes in that season finale, the show was obviously dead, looking back. then they tried to make vince's downturn interesting but it was just annoying because of sasha grey being on screen and not fukking someone. no disrespect but she was a good porn star, wooden actress.

i liked vince's comeback when he got on the phone with scorcese, tho. what really killed the show is the obvious part that's been discussed ad nauseum so we dont have to get into it - the love angles that made sloane a bigger character and highlighted E being a family man. and we wanted to see drama and turtle participate in fukkery, not grow and mature as men.
