completely agree with Prime reaching the casuals..it will just be funny to me when ppl disaparage DAZN among other things its because its an app..i would expect them to keep the same energy for prime lol

that explains why there was no rollout announced for showtime....DAZN is the only service that actually did rollout something for the final quarter

But yeah, for the good of the overall sport, hiding it on apps like that isn't the way to go. They may give up some money in the short term by not taking that kind of deal, but it absolutely would benefit them in the long run to go the other direction and just try to get on as many TVs as possible

HBO and Showtime have far too many classic fights for it to sit in its archives...i would gladly pay a pretty penny for a streaming service

I think the promotion companies owed the rights to the fights. I've seen classic HBO fights on DAZN's youtube channel

Hopefully Amazon Prime picks up PBC. DAZN is a garbage app and doesn’t reach many people. DAZN needs the PBC stable way more than PBC needs them.

Yea Haymon would probably agree with you, certainly less risk to take a guaranteed bag from Prime or whoever. That being said arguably the best era of PBC was when they controlled every aspect of the cards by buying time slots. The networks had no say and most people say the overall product was better back then, they in a better position to grow a new platform with that same level of control with guys like Tank and Canelo who can draw people into a new platform

the best era of PBC was really when PBC on Spike TV...that iteration of PBC was damned good with PBC on Bounce being underrated...every other iteration was flawed
